Welcome to The Magic of Math!  You will discover videos and instructional resources that address Math topics for Grade 5 Math, Grade 6 Math, Grade 7 Math, Grade 8 Math, and Grade 9 - Algebra 1 aligned to the Common Core Math Standards. These resources have been developed to support student learning deeply rooted in conceptual understanding.  I used these instructional and pedagogical practices in my own classroom for more than ten years where my students performed in the top 3% on our state summative assessment.  Currently, I am an Instructional Mathematics Coach providing professional development and support to educators to implement strategies to increase students mathematical fluency and and scaffold learning opportunities to support independence and confidence.
